I am marking this event because it's amazing how many places they went to before they reached Tan-Son-Nhut, the republic of Vietnam. Massachusetts- Germany- Osaka- Japan- Tan Son NHut, Vietnam.
Why do you think they went to a bunch of different places instead of just a one flight trip?

because they had to switch planes and fuel up the planes and they wanted to visit the other countries
